From the Pastor

It is true that God uses every circumstance of life, good or bad, to teach us, mold us, grow us into the people He wants us to be.  That goes for churches as well as individuals.  For almost sixty-five years, God has used every circumstance: every baptism, every event, every person fed, every pastoral change, to mold Christ Community Church into the place He intends for it to be.  Believe that there have been no wasted moments in the life of this church, because our good and sovereign God has shepherded this church through every step.  Fanny Crosby said it best in “All the Way My Savior Leads Me”, when she wrote: All the way my Savior leads me / And cheers each winding path I tread / Gives me strength for every trial / And He feeds me with the living bread.

Now, in this time of transition, we look to Jesus to shepherd us ahead and trust that He and He alone will grow this flock, not to make our name great, but to lift high the name of Jesus and the life that He alone can give.  Exciting things are ahead, if we will only trust that God’s plans are better than ours and humbly follow wherever He leads.  I hope you will join us as God boldly leads Christ Community Church in His grand plan on His grand adventure.

Soli Deo Gloria.
